large Church meetings

In 2023 God did something that we did not expect or ask for: He asked us to start a Holy Ghost fire out of an old dying church in Waterloo, NE. Before we arrived, one of the members of the old church had a vision of shepherds with shepherding crooks descending on the property and fire going forth. And that is exactly what He did. One by one, shepherds and their missional communities began converging together with the property as a central meeting ground for revival.

This is how we were given (literally) the property that is now known as The Tabernacle: Jesus Revival Hub. This property was entirely paid off with limited monthly expenses and has become to us what the 1st century temple was to the early church: a hub of a much wider network of people who share common recognition of Biblical Church.

There are various gatherings going on at The Tabernacle throughout the week with different intents but the same goal: to spark Holy Ghost revival TOGETHER. This creates many opportunities for our house churches to come together for unifying meetings. These meetings are inspired by the many examples in the Bible, and throughout history, where the whole body of believers would come together and see God move in extraordinary ways. They were marked by a noticeable, sudden and intense burst of communal excitement towards the heart of God. And our desire is for these meeting to lead to deep conviction, true repentance, and full surrender to the Lordship of Christ on a larger scale.

Since the emphasis is on the house churches first, our large church meetings serve a very specific purpose: to CELEBRATE God and how He is moving, to SPARK fires personally and corporately through demonstration of the Holy Ghost, and to be EQUIPPED AND ACTIVATED to grow in kingdom living together. We are not concerned with the typical ancillary issues of a Sunday service. We are coming — similar to the revival meetings of old — with expectant hearts to see God move in whatever ways He wants. Nothing is holding us back from His agenda!

We believe that isolation leads to death not just individually but corporately as well. The property of The Tabernacle acts as a hub of activity for all of the churches to come as they desire (and as frequently or infrequently as the Lord leads) and rub shoulders with each other and celebrate the broader work God is doing. This allows each church to be accountable to each other and to elders, while also stirring up our faith as we see God move together.

Large Church Meetings are held every Sunday at The Tabernacle EXCEPT for the final Sunday of the month — in which all are encouraged to meet in their individual house churches.
